Is it front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive? If its front any one can do it (Mondeo after all) should be cheap as chips, MR Clutch etc..

If its 4WD, jag dealer recommended. Even a very very good none jaguar technician may not know how to correctly remove the transfer box and could cause a lot of problems for you. One of the shafts has to be pulled out, but only a few inches, any more and an unseen internal seal gets damages. There is also a special lift for the subframe and two bolts that are a real pain to get at, jag dealers have special spanner just for them.

I hated doing them. book time was originally 14 hours or so, but then we took whole front end out engine subframe gearbox etc. When ford change the method, sorry jagaur, we did them in situ time change to 5 or 6 hours. At £88/hour thats lots.
