Hi there,

I was a bit bored with the same old bonnet vents, and after seeing an alternative, but personally not too keen on the std mesh/polished finish; I had an idea.........

As I have a black mesh grille, I thought that black mesh on the bonnet grilles would look the business, but to have the grille 'surrounds' colour matched to the car, as opposed to chrome or polished.
So, after 'priming' the chaps at Paramount Performance, they set about getting some made for me.

Had them fitted today (along with the lowered uprated suspension which is FAB!clap) and am really pleased with the results. What I was after was 'individuality', and I certainly have not seen any other cars with the same fitted, so let me know what you think......

Scott.

(Please ignore the bug splats on the front of the car, it is a daily driver after all!!)

Very nice. Do you have any before and after shots that would show the drop in suspension? Does it really make a difference (apart from looks)?

Cheers,
Graham

Hiya,

Not really any before and after shots, but has been lowered by just over 30mm front and rear. It is much more stable round the bends and also when changing direction at speed, and generally feels more 'taut' and less 'boaty'.
The best thing is though that all of this benefit comes without having to sacrifice the comfortable ride that Jags are renowned for! So far it is the best mod I have done to the car - bar none!

A couple of pics I took when I got home last night:

Thanks Scott, it does look visibly lower! I take it that changing the springs doesn't interfere with the CATS in any way?

No not at all! Thats the good thing about it, you have all the benefit with none of the shortcomings!

Scott.

Or you could fit a set of 'James Bond' vents.

Hi Norman,

I could have done as reckon those vents look superb!
But I wanted to do something that looked a bit different to other cars I had seen. I am really pleased with the end result.
