Mirror mirror on the car...

Hi all,

I need a new mirror for my XK8, the original mirror was not the powerfold version
but most on ebay seem to be - so my question is, if I fit a powerfold
mirror unit will the fold function work or not ?

All and any advice much appreciated.

I would have thought no as you would not have the swithes on the door.

Mirror should still fit, but no powerfold as before.
