I did not go with the R, I do not know what it is but I just think besides the supercharger it is just a bunch of extra add-ons. I was about to go with an XK that had one of those new body kits but those square tail pipes ruined it for me. Will post some better quality photos soon and arden body kit coming soon.

Yeah......Indigo. The dealer told me that the 08-09 models were going to change a bit so I might wait a couple of years and then get the R, because despite of the little things I do not like about it, it still is really nice. I have already had some lady go out of her way to tell me what a gorgeous car I drove and how a person my age got it(never had that happen with my Escalade). Hey the dealer had the first XK I have seen with that new body kit...it looked really nice, meaner than the R, but I wish it did not have those huge square tailpipes...have you seen these?

The Arden kit is trying too hard. Jaguar is not supposed to be 'in yah face'. Each to their own. Get some big wheels though!

This guy put on 22's........I do not think I could go that far. I ordered those rims on the body-kit, because I really did not like the Arden rims. If they left out all those German logos, maybe.

Which rims you order? The Arden rims have been a round for absolutely ages. They look dated, Arden really need freshen their design for the new contemporary Jaguars.

This the one I almost bought........you just have to see it in person to put those pipes in prospective. I ordered rims similar to the ones in your first post.

Congrats. Nice car. All that bling isnt really my cup of tea; much more of a traditionalist, but I can see its appeal. Just dont be conned into giving your mates lifts in the back seats every day! Theres sooo little room, dirt/scrapes/tears are inevitable on the back of the front seats!

Fantastic. post more pictures. Personally I think the XK has it over the XKR for appearance. The blingy details seem crude while the XK just looks great, particularly the radiator grille and the side vents.

Lovely, really lovely, beautifully specced. Have fun. But watch that big 4x4 its parked too close and someone will open a door and mark your aluminium coachwork!

That was my Escalade....well now it's my moms. I instructed her to very carefully open the door and put her hand on the edge of it. Surprisingly the XK is smaller then than I thought. It fits quite well.
