On Saturday the 14th July I obtained a certificate to say that my XKR was timed at 162.40 MPH between grid references TM320487 and TM340492.

Timing point at 1.5 Miles and the limiter is off

Yes, it is just at that speed distance traveled / time taken goes VERRY quickley.

At 162 mph the speedo was reading 170 so speedo 5% out at that speed.



That I thought was impressive was on my first run I started in top (5th) gear, the car pulled away smoothley and still had a speed at the markers of 155MPH

blimey! does anyone know what the max speed is of the XKR (370bhp)? is it capable of 180mph?
