Is there a reputable place for getting some more power from the 4.2 litre supercharged Jag V8?
Can 500 bhp be easily achieved?

Not sure what can be achieved, I doubt that 500 is easy.

Try talking to people like Paramount and Racing Green Cars (Chas aka Chris Whitaker aka Jagman or here)

More than happy to help with this

We have some great products for the 4.2 XKR, including upper and lower super charger pulleys, exhausts, intercoolers (or pre rads) air filters, high flow cats, and we can carry out live ECU remapping. We routinely add an additional 80bhp (at the flywheel) to the XKR both new and the 1997-2005 model.

All these mods can come with before and after dyno runs, and its all carried out in house. We have some great references from some very happy customers, you may like to see the feature on one of our conversions in next months Jaguar world magazine.

But it’s the prices which will make you smile almost as much as the new found speed and power, these mods really don’t have to cost that much. And most can be carried out whilst you wait.

Drop us a mail to Info@paramount-performance.com and we will be happy to price them up for you, in the mean time you may like to take a look at our web site www.paramount-performance.com

Best wishes – Paul
