Indigo has grown on me (I wanted ebony). It looks ebony in the shadows and bright blue in the sunlight. Great color.

Looks superb!! Not a colour I would have chosen, but that looks awesome! Have now added it to the list.

I have a 2003 XKR at the moment and am considering upgrading to a new model XKR coupe.

How do you rate the car so far?

Lets just say that I look forward to being the first at a stop light and just blasting off on green. The other day a guy in Z06 pulled up beside me with his windows down....no cops around...I gave him a run for his money, this car is a lot faster than I thought. This is my first "GT"...well I had a DB9 for about two weeks...but I have to say that besides the 100k premium, to me, the Jag is just as good.

I go to school in downtown Palm Beach, Fl. On a regular basis I see Lambos, Ferraris, Astons, Porches, Spykers,......you name it. They all have given me a second look. It is very comfortable, the sound-system is great, navigation is light years ahead of the DB9's and did I mention everything is touchscreen, which to me makes things a lot easier. Yesterday I had a girl just stop and stare at my car for about five minutes...or was she staring at the driver .........I also see plenty of the 06's running around, they always give me a thumbs-up, never got that with the Aston.

I have seen a lovely one-owner 2007 XKR that ticks all the boxes!!!

The more I see this car, the more I love it. At first I didn't find it as sharp looking as the old XK.

Exactly my colour combination and Indigo is just a fantastic choice.I chose through default fed up of Silver and Black cars. The bright finish grills etc work really well with it. I have put on the Paramount performance exhaust that sounds just brilliant and looks really good too - 4 chunky pipes coming out the back !!

Car has been fantastic - omne very slight niggle cant pair my Blackberry to the car phone system. At least I can concentrate on driving instead of answering the phone all the time!

I hear a 5 Litre engine is planned for 2009 MY ? Anyone confirm.

How does the exhaust sound instead of the stock, Silver. Is it still classy, or a bit too raw??

Yes, the 5.0ltr will arrive with the new XJ replacement. Then the XFR, XJR and XKR will all carry the 500BHP brute. My car will be 3 years old by then, puurrrfect.

Stunning car, IMHO the XKR looks better than any Aston,
