Dont mind the year, must have full service history. Miles, not concerned depending on price.
Cash buyer in NW London smile
Ive found a few on the various websites to check out, but wondered if there was a private seller who would like a few quid more than the dealer would offer.

i have one but am not planning to replace it for a couple of years, absolutely love it will do the relaxing limo thing in complete comfort and then at the push of a button and poke of your right foot will go into warp mode

drop me an email before you go looking and i can point you out few things worth looking for, options that are worth having and those that aren't

Nice one, the engines look sorted after the early issues. Sunroofs are out for me, mainly from loss of headroom and the last x308 xj I had leaked a tiny bit.
Not fussed on video screens or satnav. Ive seen some horrible colour combo's around. black and oatmeal looks nice. Im thinking early 08 will see prices ease a tad more being another year down.

Am I right in thinking there are a few wheel and brake options? Ive scoured the exchange and mart, local classifieds on here and autotrader and seen the same ones around. If anyone knows of any other places to look please let me know.

Is there any issues to look out for with the transmissions? slow shifting? lazy engagement etc? Brakes?

Thanks chaps.

I am likely to be selling my 53 plate XJR in early 2008. It is midnight black with ivory interior, 26k miles.
It's been a fantastic car, owned for almost 3 years, but I'm under pressure to buy something more sensible (it was going to be an XF but now probably an estate or MPV)
Car is very high spec with loads of options including 20" wheels, TV, phone, adaptive cruise and a sun roof - I'm 6' 2" and have no head room problems and no leaks.

I'm also in NW London.

To answer your question there are no brake options - all come with Brembo "R" badged brakes. Standard wheels are 19" with 20" Sepangs (made by BBS) an expensive option. My experience of the 6-speed auto has been very good.

X350s are generally very reliable as far as I can tell from various forums.

Early cars did not have SatNav as standard - an essential option in most eyes - but this means you might be able to find a bargain if this is not important to you.

Jolly good. We will see how the sale of the current vehicle goes over the next week or so.
BTW: Im 6'5" and the old model wasnt so good. I tested the new one out a few years ago, seemed better.
