I know from my TVR it's ECU did not readjust for different octane fuel and it had to have 98 ron or higher, just wondering if the ECU on the Jaguar does adjust or if I should always use higher octance fuel or if I'm wasting my money and should just stick to regular 95!

Apologies if my owners manual tells me the asnwer but even so a learned response is often better!

I am no expert but I believe they are designed to run with standard 95ron, and I can't see the superunleaded making that much difference for `normal` driving, so I would rather save the money. Be interesting to see what others think tho'.

I use Sainsbury's 95ron (allthough in my area it is in fact BP)

135,000 miles and still goes like a rocket

The engine was built for 95 so I can't see why anything higher is going to make any difference

other than the supposed benefits of the 'cleaning additives' in some super-unleadeds you wont get any real performance benefit- all Jaguars are designed to run on std unleaded....
