Exceptionally good to drive, and really the best thing to do is go and test drive it yourself.

The Sat-Nav according to Jaguar will NOT have TMC or the divert functions!!!!
So you could be in Jams all day long ( another downer).
Why can't they be more up to date?.frown

Don't believe that?? It's the same system as in the XK isn't it, and mine has TMC-RDS.

But is it linked to the sat nav and will it divert you around a jam?, also if you wrong turn does the system re-direct?. All Audi systems do this and have done for years.

It sure does and very well too. In fact the first time it alerted me to a jam on the A303, I ignored it. The re-route it plotted was perfect, to just avoid the jam should I have followed it!

Never agin will I ignore it!

If it is brand new model, it will be a 50/50 chance.

if it has been around a bit then should be fine.

Exceptionally good to drive,
But too slow IMO. I tried it but it's really difficult to step down from my current XJ 4.2

Compare apples with apples FFS.

4.2V8 NA versus a 2.7V6TD?

the 4.2V8 NA is available at Launch in the XF. That would be your yardstick n'est pas?

Fair enough but this 2.7 is slow even compared to the diesel BMW 335d.

A 2.7 slower than a 3.5? maybe comparing it to the 530d would be fairer
