Well after a whole Xmas Eve working on mine, I hope it will now!

Found the result of my high oil consumption - the sump was corroded so much it was blowing through and vapourising near the top flange above the plug frown

Anyway, effected a temp repair to get me home Boxing Day, as currently 200 miles from home with all garages shut. Parts on order for Friday. So here's to a 2008 with a lot less oil consumption .. hurrah!
