S Type Rear Brake Pads

I have an S-Type, 2006, 2.7D Sport. In an attempt to save a little money I want to change the brake pads myself. I successfully changed the front pads without any problem but the rear pads appear to be a little more difficult.

I am a little concerned about how the electric parking brake will operate after I change the rear pads. Will it automatically adjust itself or do I have to set it up?

Does anyone have any ideas or experience of changing the rear brake pads?
