Why would there be a problem with Nikasil and LPG ? LPG burns hotter (no issue with LPG) and LPG is not high Sulphur so what problem ?

I know it's a while since you posted your enquiry but have a look at the Muclestone web site at www.JaguarFuelConversions.co.uk/ and give Neal a call Tel: 01205 280317. The Oxford Classic Motor Club ( www.oxcmc.org.uk ) recently had a talk given by him, he has years of experience converting Jaguars old and new. LPG is actually better than petrol for Nikasil or any engine because there is no chance of oil being washed off the bores by petrol, it also burns very much cleaner than petrol.
It's no good spending good money on an engine that's burning oil, get a blow by test done first.
