What the general; thoughts on a 98 plate XKR with 105k miles...will nikasil be a problem or is it a case of if it hasn't happened yet then it won't.
Any other ussues to check?

That is about it in my opinion 'if it hasn't happened yet then it wont'.

There is a public Forum area but as a Member you can get into all the Forum.

There is plenty of information on the XK8/Rs there or just ask, you will be inundated with info.

Norman, on a seperate note the front end of your XKR, have you just removed the number plate mounting to give the 'new look' and if so is it an easy job?

Phil, v easy job to drop the number plate.

As for 105k miles, Norm has a high miler, but it has been his for a v long time. Ref: to niukasill I agree with Norm you should be ok, but get a blow by check done to check if engine os ok.

Expect to start getting bigger bills for it if you intend to do more miles.
