Looks a lovely car mate!!

I can recommend the Paramount exhaust and cats if you want a real V8 roar!!!!!wink

Would also recommend you join the XKEC of you haven't already, great bunch of people and very informative!! Plus the big 'national gathering' is happening in May!! (www.xkec.co.uk)

Apart from the grey exterior wink , nice R, I love the unusual interior scheme. I'll also echo Scottmans advice to join the XKEC.

Many thanks, I'm quite fond of black and tan myslef.

I had a look at the XKEC, not sure if it would benfit me too much, sa I'm in the far north of the country, an most of the meets etc seem to happen down south.

There is a XKEC Regional Rep in Scotland with quite a few 'Northern' members.

I am in the process of trying to get XKEC members to be more active with PH meets, although there are quite a few XKEC guys on this forum I have only ever met one at a PH meet.

I did note that the XKEC Chairman has posted a note on the 'Meetings' thread telling PH members about the clubs big annual event, Growler. This year is number 5 (GV) which will celebrate the club being 5 years old and the XKR reaching it's 10th birthday.

You don't have to be a member to attend GV but you would have to register with the chairman as the club has booked the grounds at the venue.

All the details are on www.xkec.co.uk

I have just got back from the XKEC Lake District tour and it was fantastic to have 23 XK8/R's driving across all the passes for the weekend. If you decide to join XKEC I am sure you will not be disappointed and with over 100 XK8/R's at Growler in May it is worth the trip to the Midlands for that.

Lake District would have been easier.

Just checked the distance, and as much as I like driving, Distance: 454 mi (about 8 hours 7 mins), is a wee bit far.

Agree, like the interior, never came across warm charcoal/tan before when I was searching for mine.

Graham (also XKEC member - edited to add, worth joining for the advice on the forum and growler magazine alone)
