It sounds just like the one I just sold. Lovely car. Is there a Z in the number plate?

I certainly did Gareth! Just picked it up and loving it. Very different drive (obviously) from the Jag, but fantastic all the same. Took your advice and went for a new one in the end, but got a decent chunk of the new price.

Went for Stornaway Grey with Jet interior and piano black. Factory fitted privacy glass as well (the dealer said they could do it but I said I wanted the factory version!) Will check out rangerovers.net - I've already had a look at fullfatrr and it seems very quiet.

Sorry for the thread-jack, but where's this guy who has bought the new XKR? I want to know whether he has my old car!

Cheers

Ed

Sorry guys got way laid a bit driving around smile

well it cost just over £52k I think I defo got a bargain and does/did have an x in the reg. I got it from grange in welwyn but they internally transferred it across from grange in Exeter where they took it in as a px for AMV8

It doesn't sound like my car then - the last digit of my reg was a Z. Whoever exchanged it for a AMV8 is going to be a little bit disappointed in my view. I looked at the AMV8 and quite simply it's not as nice a car.

Enjoy the Jag!

Yes, most I hear is peeps are trading their AMV8's for XKR's!

Good choice on the Rangie, definitely go with the factory p/glass!
