Take a look at this one on Ebay, item number 150295967149 (sorry, no good at copying links)
You will notice the description of the RHD car, with pictures of a LHD car in an american showroom!
Weird thing is the interior shot is of an X300, and the engine bay looks like a V8 X308. Very odd.
Guess if you win the auction he pays for your flights out to the Miami dealership??

A year or so ago someone was trying to punt a poor C Type replica as XKC054, a car that never looked like a C-Type in the first place and is known to have been broken up in the mid fifties. They didn't seem to take any notice, they only seemed to take notice when the ads were farming email by trying to get you to contact the seller off ebay or when the ads were copies of earlier ones. Other than that they never seemed to care.
