MrNST shows me a clean pair of heels in a spirited drive to the petrol station with her in the xk and myself following in the 9-3 aero.
What is interesting was to see the huge tyres and CATS suspension in action generating huge amounts of grip and seeing how the suspension keeps the from pitching and diving in corners and braking/accelerating. i couldn't keep with her in the corners and i definitely couldn't stay in touch on the straights!

She tells when when we pull up at the station that she wasn't even trying as she mocked me.. ouch(!)

The mocking soon stopped when I told her that i might have to take the XK back when little NST arrives.. hehe that wiped the smile from her face!
hehe

Thanks. I had no problems with the plate for 2 years then a nice friendly bib "helped" me take it off at the side of the road, last year, with the help of a 6 inch knife.

Thereby leaving you with no front plate? That's even more illegal... Plod accessory to offence etc....

Plod explained "I don't want to give you a ticket as the spacing doesn't bother me, I just think black plates look tacky. If I leave the black plate on I know you will not bother changing it and it will wind me up every time I see you" I laughed and shook him by the hand. Even though the black plate on a silver car looks so much better imho it makes a nice change to have a plod that's honest why he pulled me over.

His automatic number plate recognition system probably couldn't read it.

Due to the credit crunch I had to sell the jackets. They were worth twice what the cars are worth in this economic climate.
