XJR 8 big ends?

Hi, my ominous knock is sounding like it is more than likely a big end gone. Anyone had any experience of changing conrod shells, or prices for doing it? Guess most of the labour is taking the crossmember out to enable access to the sump?
Any tips would be appreciated, thanks

I've seen plenty of Jag x-beams removed in my time - the problem is that if the big ends have gone the mains are often on their way out too. Bottom line - if you change the big ends, sell the car.
