Mk 2 Oil Cooler
Discussion
I meant where abouts in the car, in front or behind the radiator or is there a better place such as behind the dummy air vents in the front wing? There's not much room under the bonnet of a Mk2

Does any one know the best place to locate an oil cooler on a 3.4 (well 4.2 actually) Mk2?
You could try the yesterday's heroes group here on piston heads or you could try asking over on www.jag-lovers.org.
I'll see if I can dig out any pictures later. There was an article in Jaguar World a couple of years ago about a recreation of a racing Mk2 that Ken Bell did, it was a recreation of one of the cars he built whilst at Coombs. I looked at buying the car from Camberley Marines. I'm pretty sure that it had an oil cooler, but I can't remember just where it was. There were quite a few pictures in the Jag World article. I've got it kicking around here somewhere.
There were a couple of Mk2s in the showroom at Racing Green, ones a Beechams so is a bit different but I'd suspect that at least one of the others has an oil cooler.
