Worrying stories this week that Tata are asking the British Government for 1billion pounds of operating capital and they are planning to manufacture some future models in India.If true the new dawn didnt last long.

I hate to say it, but I said it would fail.

There is no way that the Government will bail them out (not that they appear to need it yet). And as much as I love Jaguar, they are a private company and should not receive government money - especially as they are owned by a foreign company who are not short of a bob or two...

They'll want the X-Type platforms. Great car, but the Ambassador has had its day over their in India and I for one would be happy to 1000's of X-types gracing the streets over instead. I'm fed up with seeing through the floor of the taxi everytime I go out for a curry when I'm there!
