XJR dashdisplay

[Big Rumbly]

The temperature and fan display on the dash on my 1997 XJR has just gone black on the right hand side, goes from green on the left, as it should do, and then gradually goes dark on the right, Is this just the beginning of the end for the LCD ?

Sounds like the bulb on one side has failed.
When the display fails (X300 display do!) the display will fade to a uniform green.
There is a bloke on eBay (or was last time I looked) that sells fixed ones of the displays and his eBay ad includes the instructions on how to get in to the display.
