My New Car! '91 XJS 3.6 Straight Six (Pictures!)

Hey team!

Here's a few quick snaps of my new car, a 1991 Jaguar XJS 3.6 Litre Straight Six. It comes with a 'supposed' 235BHP, but after 18 years and 124,000 miles I'm guessing I may have lost a few ponies, lol. It comes with the TWR kit which I think looks superb.

It has a few slight electrical niggles that need ironing out, but at the moment it starts, runs and drives great so I'm happy.

Thats a very nice car. Should put it on a Rolling Road to what the current horsepower is. BUT dont leave it out in the open! These cars just rust away unless you garage them.

Uh oh Myobb, I'm using it as a daily driver mate, sadly the only place for it IS out in the open,

I drive it 25 miles a day to work and back and it's constantly outside, so let's just hope it doesnt turn out like alot of the others,

I should imagine it's still kicking out at least 200BHP, it sure seems that way anyway, the kickdown is immense! I nearly lost it earlier on when kicking down at a junction and turning left, the back end snapped out wildly on the change up to 2nd gear. I nearly ruined my trousers,

Greast car; congrats! I have a '95 4.0 XJS and love it; you will too! Luckily, I got the galvanized version, not a bit of rust yet. WHen did they start that treatment, you may have it??
