E-Type Half Shafts

If memory serves you can. The inner driveshaft UJ flange is bolted to the output shaft on the diff.
With the car still on the ground undo the the driveshaft nut at the outer end of the shaft, lift the car, undo the four nuts on the inner end that fix the UJ to the 'diff output shaft and push the shaft out through the hub.
You might need to take the whole shaft/hub assembley off the car and use a press to get the shaft out of the hub. Note the postion of the Camber shims between the inner UJ and output shaft and make sure they go back in the right place.
I think that's right..it's been a long time since I did any work on the Jaguar IRS. If you get stuck PM me and I'll dig out the workshop manual.
