Is this a series 1?
Discussion
It's a series 1 2+2 with a series 2 bonnet
it looks more upright because it's the 2+2 which have a 2 inch higher roof line and an extra 9 inches in the wheelbase for the extra seats, the actual screen is no more vertical, it's the same angle
it's a series 1 because, it has the series 1 rear lights, the series 1 internal switches, three windscreen wipers and 67 would make it series 1, but it's beginning to go into series 1.5
series 1.5 was never official it's used to refer to the end of series 1 production where some of the series 2 features started to leak through
the bonnet is series 2, the air intake is too big for series 1, series 1.5 bonnets had uncovered lights but the smaller series 1 air intake, it's not unusual for cars that needed a new bonnet post 67 to be fitted with the series 2 bonnets, i've even come across a couple of cars that had them changes because of the bigger lighting it gave
despite what he says, they're not rare and certainly they never came with the internal wood

Thanks for the comments, thought it looked "newer" than it was listed as but seems three was a bit of "interchangeability" of parts. Bit like minis and escorts in the same era I suppose.
As previously said, no actual interest in the car either way, just saw it advertised and was as a 55 year old who lived through the period, a little, shall we say curious.
