HI all,

looking at a 2000 xk8 with about 70k miles on it this weekend......however has only covered 5k miles in the last couple of years .....is this a good thing or a bad thing?

all tensions/shocks/recalls have been done already

Perhaps the car has been used as a weekend car yes

Nothing wrong with that so long as the services etc are sorted..........My Griff does around 4k per Anum so don't panic mate smile

Indeed, my 05 Monaro only has 22k up and 2k of that was in France last year. smile

Out of interest Nige whats your average MPG ?

I love them motors and since the vast majority of my family have Buggered off to Oz i have a bit of affinity towards them smile

Around town 14mpg but at Christmas on the way back from Edinburgh to Essex it averaged 27mpg!
I was really amazed and very pleased... and that was at motorway speeds (70-80)
Must have been 'cos it was all downhill. biggrin

They are right bargains at the mo' tbh - easy get a nice one for £12k

Sorry to keep this off topic... but I love it.

400bhp (it has a few choice tweaks) and a mountain of torque - it goes like a greased weasel up a drain pipe.biggrin

Dunno where you are but you'd be welcome to s drive anytime chap. smile
