Help... Tyre sizes on my XJR

They seem to have a different diameter front and back. Just replaced the P-Zero's with Avons on the front - apparently like for like - according to the tyre fitters - and was about to order the rears...

However, upon checking the sizes it would appear the fronts are 255/40 ZR18 and the rears are 255/45 ZR18

I've had cars with different width tyres front and rear, but never diameter. Could this be right?

It may have the wrong tyre sizes on the rear then, hmmm...

I have 245/45 all round on mine. I know its not standard but its a lot cheaper and there is no difference.....Theres not I tells ya

255/40's feel a lot sharper on the front...

This is the correct size all round.
