Hi Folks,

Thinking of selling my car as I want a convertible for the summer. A guy at work wants to buy it but not sure what it is worth.

S-Type 2004 2.5 V6 (53 plate) SE auto. Blue with cream leather.
53000 miles.
Full Jag dealer history except last service which was done at Jag specialist.
12 months tax and MOT.
4 new Pirellis within last 2k miles.
Two scuffs; one of corner of back bumper and one on corner of front (done by previous owner!)

I paid £5000 in October.

What is it worth?

You can pay £3.50 and get a parkers valuation as well on their website.

Sell it for £5k! Seems a good price for a low mileage, nice example.

That's of course unless you told him what you already paid!

Yeah, I've already told him what I paid!!

I think £5k is a fair price as I have spent the following;

£210 on a years tax
£50 on MOT
£15 replacing broken number plate surround.

I've only had it 4 months and put 2k miles on it
