X-Type brake upgrade

X-types brakes aren't the best are they! Best/cheapest/easiest thing to do with them is to just get a set of decent pads fitted. Seems to be the most popular and successful solution.

Worth upgrading the discs at the same time? Any recommendations?

Have used Mintex in the past and always been pretty impressed (not sure if they do X-Type fitment though)

My best friend has a 3.0 sport and has gone with Black Diamond (grooved and drilled discs) with EBC red pads, braided hoses and AP racing fluid, ( all from tweeks) and he raves over the difference.

It does indeed - thanks Ken. Did Demon Tweeks fit the kit as well? How much did they charge?

I've no idea whether Demon Tweaks fit anything.
I've just used them to buy a helmet for trackdays and I'll probably buy some other trackday toys from them, seat, wide band lambda kit... Toys :-)

They have a very useful catalogue.
