Hi,

This has me a little puzzled, I have had my car nearly two years and wanted to charge my Ipod via the front cigar lighter, but it is dead.

Located the fuse to the rear right hand side heelboard fusebox as per the manual, however there is no fuse there, and where the fuse goes there is no metal receptor type thing for it, in fact the slot is similar to an "unused" fuse slot.

I have never used the cigar lighter before so can't say anything about the history !

Anybody got any ideas on this one ?

The fuse for the cigar lighter on my 2000 X308 is in one of the fuse holders in the boot, under the r/h floor panel.
And they are notorious for blowing them easily.

Hi,

Thanks for the information, I did look at this fusebox.

I guess I will go have another butchers and take a bit more time.

Hi,

Thankyou for the information, the XJR handbook I have is incorrect.
