Picked up my 04 xjr yesterday,got to say realy enjoying the experience so far.Is there anything i need to be aware of to make my ownership a happy one.

I'd suggest you decrease the intervals between oil and coolant changes rather than relying on the service schedule and have the gearbox and 'diff oil changed every 30-40k or so. If you're planning on keeping the car for several years modifying the schedule to preserve the car in peak condition is a worthwhile investment.
