The S-Type is in for a 30K service tomorrow. Apparently they have an XF 2.7 Luxury on the loan fleet so I'm having it. Have said I'll struggle to get it back tonight so returning it Sat AM biggrin

Bummer unfortunately XF is still out with a customer so I've got lumbered with an X-TYpe 2.2 Premium Sport Deaseasal Auto.
No great enthusiasm to keep this for more than a day.

I don't dislike it & certainly not for the fact it's FWD! It is just I've had one on loan before, so know what it is about & also I don't like the quilted trim of the Sport, I much prefer the others.
When you're looking forward to an XF it is a bit of a disappointment to get an X-Type.
It's bloody quick though & I reckon I'd lose my licence pretty quick! Handling is pretty fair as well.

Anyway the garage has phoned to say that mine won't be ready until Sat so now have it until then! biggrin

Nope sorry! I went from dealers to home & back again biggrin Mine was a shock though, 30K service on an S Diesel with supply only of two wipers (I'm not paying the 0.18 of an hour to fit) was £403 eek Ouch

Always go to a good Independant Jaguar Specialist

I go to Tom @ TL Jaguar 0118-973-7779 as good if not better than a Dealer at half the price
