do all X-types have 4 wheel drive?

A friend of mine is looking at a X-type estate or saloon, but she needs it to be 4 wheel drive. Are they automatically 4 wheel drive or is it an option? Is it just on potion on the estate?

Only the 2.5/3.0ltr petrol X-Types have AWD as standard.

For a new X-Type Estate the only car now being built AWD will be the 3.0ltr.

There is/was no engine option that had 2 OR 4 wheel drive.

Diesels - Front wheel drive only.
2.0 (well, 2.1 really) petrol - Front wheel drive only.
2.5 & 3.0 petrol - 4WD only.

Certainly an odd set of choices!
