Changing front pads on an X308 XJR

My XJR has now hit the value where I intend to do as much maintennance as possible myself. First up is the front pads which could do with being changed before Le Mans.

I've changed pads on ordinary cars (such as Metro's and Sierra's etc.) before, so is there anything particularly difficult about the Jag? Any special tools or very big hammers required?

Any advice appreciated.

Just the same.

Maybe go up a size with the hammer!!

Job done today. Was easy enough once I'd gone to Halfrauds to buy a T45 torx drive...

Have to say, only driven 20 miles on the new mintex pads and already they feel a lot better than the old OEM pads!
