Just sold one my XJR's last week via ebay, the cheeky new owner has now got it advertised on this site for £4950,a cool £1450 more than he paid last week. Im all for free enterprise but the lazy tike has cut and paste my ebay pictures!! I spent hours polishing those Paris rims for the pics!
Whats the rules on ebay pictures, any copyright? or is it free rein for anyone to use your pics?
Anyhow, good luck to him, think any prospective buyer might wonder why its had 3 owners in 5 months though?

Doesn't matter what eBay's rules are, you own the copyright to the photos. You should be able to issue eBay with a take down notice to have the images removed.
Is it the same bloke selling the car? only scam artists often copy old ads and re-run them. It's a lot easier than write convincing ones.

If he's copied your photos he's stealing your copyrighted material unless you've given him permission. There must be a way of asking PH to take down the pictures. They will respond, because if they don't you are allowed to go after them (which I'm sure you don't wish to do) but you have to notify them of a breech of copyright first.
At least that's my understanding of these things.

Thanks a8hex, have reorted to PH, will see what happens. Nothing against the guy trying to make a buck, but very lazy to pinch my material, could have at least taken his own shots and written a more honest blurb.

Just a little update, PH were great, removed the ad and phoned me to get the full story. Great service.

Almost certainly the same car. Another reason why I would never use Racing Green. A very over priced company!

Another update, he has now tried the same thing on ebay, my pictures, and much of my text, albeit with a snazzy type face.
Cheekiest bit, he has added 'mature owner', hope he doesnt mean me, im only 46!
Anyway, have reported it, hope ebay are as prompt as PH were to remove it.

I always thought RG were expensive. When we bought our Tamora we got it brand new for £37k including aircon, spiders and pearl paint and was delivered straight from the Factory.

At the time we had also looked at 2 cars R.G had, they wanted £45k and both cars had the original seats.
