Is it possible to put child seats(stage 2) in an XKR has anybody done this?
Also need a booster seat in rear behind driver.
We are currently doing this in our Alfa 1750 GT Bertone mark 1 1969

best wishes

New aluminium XKR's i.e. 2006- there are seats that fit, but firstly they are bucket seats and thewrefore you will ruin the leather and secondly, anyone in the back means no one will get in the front seats.

Older steel XKR's are a bit better.

Hi

After test driving an XKR (2007) yesterday, one of my concerns is whether or not you can actually get a child seat to fit the rear. Our little one is only eighteen months so we would need to squeeze in a Group 1 isofix seat for occaisonal short journeys.

If any one out there does no of any seats that do fit I'd be grateful to know. (Dealer wasn't much help, although he had seen boosters in the back.

Car is a cracking drive and does exactly what I would want compared to my current drive, a 997 C2S. I'll be mortified if SHMBO doesn't allow me to acquire one just because I can't find a child seat that sits in the back!!

Your suggestion wasn't lost on me Triple7!!

Luckily I have saved myself a few pennies with a bit of a helping hand from Jaguar.

For anyone who wants to know, the Britax Duo Plus Isofix, is a viable option and the XK (Coupe and Convertible)is included on the fitting list of Britax. The seat is group 1 - 9 mnths to 4yrs.

Now I've just got to find the right car.

Ask the dealer to get in touch with Jaguar HQ to see what they advise.

Alternatively, have a look on the Britax website and see what their configurator recommends for your car and size of child.

BTW the proper Jag seats are Britax with a jag badge on them.

Precisely.

You can get mats that protect the leather, failing which a decent towel usually does the trick plus helps mop up any sick that happens to be flying around.
