looking for my old V12 OTS E Type
Discussion
about 22 years ago I owned as second keeper a beautifl lavender v12 roadster. Originally supplied to a company called Frank Galliers of Shrewsbury it was supplied by Henleys of Manchester. I think it was registered on YVM either, 3, 5 or 338M. My memory is playing up and I cannot recall between those 3 numbers. Does anyone know its whereabouts please?
I'm afraid it is not listed on www.etypedata.com, Their sister site xkdata is doing an increasingly good job of listing all the XKs that still exit. Of course these site are never complete.
You could try the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and the Jaguar Drivers Clubs there is also the E-Type club.

I agree it was such a lovely car I feel sure it still exists unless it was written off. Trouble was back then when I took the personal plate off it didn't go back onto its original reg number of YVM5M
So somehow I need to find it. Cannot recall for the life of me who I sold it too or how. Funny how the brain fades over only 22 years. I knew this car when new as it was owned by my best pals uncle from new. I own a mint XJ12 series one from the same family and would love to get this back. Why did I sell it? Anyway so if not on DVLA. XKEDATA jdc or jec registers how do I find it? I am lost for ideas

All you can do is to try writing to the 3 clubs magazines and hoping they'll put the details into their "Where is it now sections"You could also try www.jag-lovers.org and try asking on their E-Type forum.
