E-Type Fuel Draining

Could anyone advise me on checking the fuel tank filter on a series 2 e-type, where its located, also fuel pump replacement. Thanks Andy

You could try posting this under the classic cars and yesterday's heroes group. More classic Jag owners tend to live there these days.

Look under the car, just to the left of the rear exhaust box is a tube with a heaxagon plug on the end. This houses the filter,which is soldered to the hex.Remove the tube at your peril. If the tank is thin it will ring off the when you undo the hex, so support the tube first.Pump should be located in the o/s/r inner wing , open the tailgate, immediately to your right behind the trim
