xk8 drivers window down and down

it used to drop on open door and back up on close...now it drops on open but not up when shut and every time i open door window will drop down each time till fully down unless i sit in and shut the window any ideas it was fine !!!thanks all

400, your windows need a 'memory reset' I think.

Press the window down and hold button until you here the click, then all the way up and hold until you here another click. Hey presto, your windows have their 'memory' back

edited to add, unless you disconnected the battery for something recently, it could be that your battery is on the way out These vehicles are very sensitive to any slight voltage drops in the system - hence the windows will loose their memory. Best get it properly measured to see how good it is.
