XFR - Balloon offered on Jag PCP deals?
Discussion
Prob maximum 30% deposit and ~10% APR. It's quite expensive. Straight HP is better value but the repayments are more. I was quoted this on a nearly new 5.0 XKR for straight HP (did not go for it):
£59,895, £30k deposit, balance of £29895 @ £598 for 60 months (4% flat). Interest = £5985
I can't remember the balloon payment quote but it had a £28k future payment and I think the interest payable was well over £10k. Felt like bad value to me.
I didn't go for either deal. Who needs a 5.0 anyway!

I was quoted a 25k GMFV after 3 years on a brand new one at the end of April; bought the SV8 instead (6 months old, 5k miles, and 35k purchase price and a 20k GMFV). XFR, IMO wasn't worth the massive extra outlay. Get one when it's a year old, or get an SV8 for now - 420bhp and it's still massively quick.

I went to but an XFR in May. 3 yrs, 15k miles £1600pm GMFV £21k. Yikes..... Kept my Disco3.
Blardy hellers! They wanted you to pay £57600 over 3 years on a car price of £59,000 (for assumptions sake) and then kick you in the goolies afterwards with a valuation of only 35% of it's original price?
That's effectively a rental of £2655 a month or £90 a day with nothing at the end!
That's just a joke!

£25k on a £50k ex-demo via 8% PCP wouldn't be bad.£25k over 3 yrs, plus 8% APR would be....£700 pcm with a small deposit?
That probably under-estimates the depreciation.
