Jaguar appears to be opening a short term showroom which features the car which I was told is opening this evening, seems an expensive way of marketing this no? On the other hand it is well positioned and should get high visibility.

Went to visit. The showroom is actually very very nice, the dashboard itself is very modern (some will find the digital display rather too modern). On the other hand the car I feel had 1 very major problem. The chrome element which is present all over transmition tunnel + gearbox feels totally plasticky to the touch, looks amazing BUT NOT nice at all to the touch. Apart from that, it both looks and feels the way a superb XXIst Century luxury Jaguar should feel.

Please Jaguar, make sure the chrome surrounding the dashboard feels like solid metal!
