Mrs Robocop's Charity Skydive for Royal Marsden

Hi Folks,

I know its a bit cheeky and a lot of you wont have met Mrs RC yet, on Sat 26th my wife Kate reaches the milestone that is the big FOUR OH! To celebrate, she is doing a tandem skydive to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.

Now Kate is not an adrenaline junky so this is no easy task, but its made even more odd in that she works as Cabin Crew - and spends her working life making sure people dont leave aircraft in this way!

She has decided to do this because we lost our close friend Rod earlier this year. Rod was diagnosed last year and the disease took and nasty turn in May leaving him just a few weeks to live. The hospital arranged for him to marry his long term girlfriend Rachel in hospital ... he died just five days later, three days past his 40th birthday.

The hospital were marvelous at looking after people with cancer and help them and their families deal with this terrible curse. So we would like to help them help others, and I have set up a Just Giving web site at
