Re Connolising leather seats

The drivers seat in my XJ8 could do with a bit of tlc.
There are no splits or anything major but it has some cracks in the surface etc and just looks not as good as the rest of the car interior which is immaculate.

Do these home kits work?
I'm kind of guessing they do a certain job but probably not as good as a man with a workshop etc.

Anyone had it done profesionally and where...and may I ask how much it cost?

The home kits are pretty effective, once you have tinkered with the additives to get the shade spot on. Fills the cracks nicely.

It cost me about £75 to get two entire seats recoloured and £20 when I want them 'topping up'

I'm in the midlands though so I guess there is no point in passing on the details of the guy who does it. Worth asking around though, find a garage that restores cars, I'm sure they will know someone in your area who does it.
