XK8 A/C Condenser removal

Has anyone sucessfully removed the a/c condensor from in front of the radiator without removing the radiator assembly? I have only had a brief look in the carpark over lunch and it seems feasable on the face of it.

I had the sytem marked with Dye and the only place it is present is around the condenser and over the radiator behind it. Thus I'm guessing that is the offending item.
