X type 2.0d estate tyres

After finding damage on one of the front tyres, needing to replace the fronts. Any suggestions ?

Currently running Dunlop Sport all round 225x45x17, which I think might have been original fitment, as at least a couple of pairs have been fitted in last 80k, but wondering if better suited tyre ?

Original fitment would have been Pirelli P-zero Nero's. Loads of grip & very quiet but they dont last long.
