A bit of advice please...

I'm looking to get my S Type R up in the classifieds but am unsure of realistic pricing. After a scan through various classifieds the prices seems to be all over the place?

Some detail of the car in question:

52 Plate
3 owners
All the goodies inc TV/Nav
Silver with black & red leather
79000 on the clock
FJSH
Just had alloy refurb
all round great condition.

Any advice would be much appreciated, i'm thinking around £9500 - 10000
does that sound about right?

What figure are you thinking?
Have spotted a couple similar spec cars near by in Bristol for around 11 grand although these are trade examples.

Worth also bearing in mind that the brakes are damned expensive and a complete PITA.

Are they ? I've changed mine twice now as didn't want to pay the >1k the dealer wanted, easy to change and under £450 for front and rear discs, front and rear pads and handbrake pads.

Jag main dealer had to fit 3 different sets of discs and pads because they couldn't get the Brembos to fit properly. Eventually, they got Jag to pay for a new suspension component which solved the issue for a month or so; then the vibration under braking was back.
