Sovereign V8 window and coil pack
Discussion
Two questions please chaps:
1. How do I know whether I need a 2-pin or 4-pin coil pack for my '99 car? It isn't going to be near me for a while to take one out to check, and I would like to order a new one (have the VIN here if that helps?).
2. The car is with my friendly bodyshop to get the driver's door resprayed. The driver's window now will not operate. He removed the door handle to do the paintwork, refitted it and everything tested OK after that. The following day, the window will not move, but when pressing the button you can hear it click (the motor, I assume?). Any thoughts on what might be causing that?
Cheers

I just changed one on my '99 Sovereign ('T') and it was a four-pin. The emergency one cost me £20 from a breakers up the road and it works just fine. They are even cheaper at Eurojag if you don't mind used. Britishparts are around the £70 mark.
One mug of tea and three parts of an hour to fit on drivers side, less on passenger side :-)
