The alloys on my 2006 S-Type are called 'Antares' and are 17" diameter. Three need reburbishing and the fourth is very poor so I need to decide what to do. Current tyres are Continental 245/45 R17.

There is a similar-looking, in fact nicer, 15-spoke design called 'Libra' but these are for XFs, and my dealer won't recommended them because they've not been officially tested/recommended on an S-Type.

If the wheel size and stud spacing are the same, is there any reason not to use them? I don't know if the offsets are the same.

They are very similar to the ones on my S except mine are 18" TheXF is based on S-Type chassis so I expect the wheels will be similar offset etc. I'd expect them to fit. Not sure if you have a Jaguar warranty how they'd view it though.

Thanks folks - although Jaguar can't officially recommend it, there seems to be no reason not to proceed.
