I quite fancy changing the standard 16" wheels my X308 has, can anyone identify what's on this XJR? Also, am I right in thinking XJR wheels will fit onto a normal XJ8 without issue?

Cheers,

Chris

Can't help with the identification

But yes you can fit XJR wheels to a XJ8

Not Ally body XJ's to a steel body XJ without adaptors, these are available

They look similar to the wheels fitted to the later Daimler Super V8 models.

They are the original 'Super V8' wheels. I'll get you the name tomorrow.

Unfortunately, no wheel from the X350, S-Type or X-Type will fit earlier Jaguars like the X308. I believe the PCD and offset are different.

Think the 'Super' name was only used on the daimler version, that one in pic has Jag centre caps.

nope, there was a supercharged XJ called the super v8, like this one:

there are other examples in classifieds. Think a soft version not as 'sporty' as XJR.
