I go to Guy Salmon Maidstone who are part of the same group & pretty good.
I believe the lovely Zara who worked at Maidstone moved to the Thames Ditton site say hello!

Used, after my other recent purchase, I do not think I would be able to afford a new XJ.

IMHO, if you want used you don't have to bother with any particular dealer. Go on the Jaguar website and look for your car http://used.jaguar.co.uk/ any of these cars can be bought to a dealer of your choice with a £500 deposit (although you have to be almost certain it is the one you want!). I can introduce you to my contact if you wish? What budget, year, spec etc. are you after

Thanks for the offer, to be honest Thames Ditton in Surrey is not too far from me anyway, and they have the car there. I just havn't dealt with them in person yet; I do not want to be shocked with rubbish customer service as I mostly am with one or two BMW dealers.

Well good luck with the purchase. I sold my XKR to them and bought a Disco3 from the LR side, it's hit and miss who you get to deal with. I always phone up first and speak to the receptionist and ask who he/she would deal with if I were to walk through the door, you tend to get an unbiased opinion! wink

I will make sure I try that.

Whenever I've had to go in there, a few years back now, they were always a very helpful bunch, unlike the BM garage down the road
